Korea Day 11 - 13,

LOL! A few of my girls were telling me a few days ago that I still have yet to complete my entries about my Korea trip from the time after I was back last year to the time before they went Korea in April this year to the time when we met (a few days ago) to the time that I'll be flying to TW (which is tonight).

So I'll split my remaining 6 days into 2 parts because the remaining days happened all in Seoul. This might be the longest entry of #zacleentraveltokr (if not, the following one)!

Day 11: Ewha Womans University + Myeongdong

I forgot where we headed to in the daytime. If I didn't rmb wrongly, Ewha Womans University. Being the glutton on, I requested for one Godiva ice cream cone. First time trying and I'm already loving it! I heard that it costs $8 at Takashimaya?? I think it costs $5 or s'where near this price in Korea...

I wna bring home all!!
Shopping at Ewha Womans University is mostly about shoes, shoes and shoes! I bought a few pairs of shoes here and surprisingly, they all fit my small feet!! Stopped by a small eatery place that serves Japanese cuisine for lunch.

Headed down to Myeongdong for even more shopping!! I rmb telling Zach during part one of our Seoul that Myeongdong had nothing for me at all. Like totally not my style... But, I was so damn wrong! I ended up spending so much on the second part of our trip. Not only that, we even headed back to Myeongdong a few times because I thought I didn't buy enough and Bro wanted me to help him buy a pair of shoes as well. HAHAHAH! So, anyone who says Myeongdong has nothing to shop, you better think twice (referring to myself actually)!!

Not even half of the loot in Myeongdong :/
Day 12: Nami Island + Dongdaemun

Woke up early for Nami Island. Supposed to go for Petite France as well but we miscalculated the timing so we decided to come back for Petite France the following day. Very waste of time but no choice.

Took train from Dangsan station all the way to Gapyeong Station which is super off Seoul. Took us quite long to reach Nami Island because we had to wait for cab when we reached the station in order to reach our destination.

Wanted to try this but we didn't.

Spot Singapore flag!

The ferry looks so much like a movie character

Hot weather calls for an ice cream. Shiok level x10000

Settled our early dinz at a restaurant in Nami Island since we couldn't head down to Petite France anymore... Entered a restaurant that serves Italian cuisine: Di Matteo!

Carbonara: 13,000W
Aglio Olio: 10,000W

Decided to head down to Dongdaemun for some shopping but uhm... I don't rlly like it there actually. There's nothing much for us. Most of the shops there are wholesalers. We ended up taking a stroll along the "drain".

Day 13: Petite France + N Seoul Tower

It's rlly very inconvenient to get to Nami Island and Petite France. But now we knw and that we always tell friends who are heading to Korea to go these two places in one day. Headed to Cheongpyeong Station for Petite France. Took shuttle bus from the stn to our destination!

Bicycle friendly

So therapeutic!!

Left the place and headed to Myeongdong for the second time! Finally tried the ice cream that I kept seeing online whenever I searched "must-eat in Seoul".

2x bigger than my face

I love this so much!

The below photos happened because I was urgently looking for the restroom. Like, really very super urgent. I didn't knw Zach would be such a stalker! I was urgent to the extent that I missed the sign and kept looking for the sign (2nd photo) when I've already missed it. Zach had to call out to me and told me about it. I laughed and it made me even more urgent. LOL! #funnythingsIdo.

UP TO N SEOUL TOWER!!

Bought our dinz from one of the fast food restaurants there and brought it out to a super dark, and of cus romantic, place to dine. Our view was awesome! We could see the bokeh lights of the city! :) Went up to a higher level after our dinz and here's another awesome view of the night lights of Seoul! It looks so much like we were in an airplane in the sky!

Till then. N Seoul Tower! :)
I'm done with my first part of Seoul Part 2. Heading out to (hopefully) find a luggage strap for my luggage tonight!! If not I'll be very sian. Goodbye! :)

Korea Day 10: Back to Seoul,

Finally down to the 10th day of our Korea trip - from Jeju Island to Seoul!! I love our last apt so freaking much!! Just look at the view from our cosy apt! But of cus, it comes with a super steep price!!

Panorama view! What a view!!
Needless to say, it gets prettier during the nighttime. Yes, that's Dangsan River! Just imagine me sleeping and facing the window (Zach always lemme take the better view/my comfy spot) with this view with lights blinking far away and the night scenery. Our bed is just beside the FULL-LENGTH windows! Full-length windows w magnificent views are my weakness! Too much compliments for this apt! Rlly too much! Both Zach and I "wow" the moment we opened the door of this apt! Hahah!

Love the 360 degree turn entrance!

I told Zach that if, in future, we were to go back to Korea again, I'll definitely come back to this apt AGAIN!! Of cus, that's only if the both of us are travelling because this cosy apt is too small for 3 and more.

Took a short nap after we reached the apt and off we went to Hongdae for my Hello Kitty Cafe! Didn't enter the cafe back in Jeju Island so here we were as planned!

Hmmm, actually... Once is enough! Hahah! The waffle was still alr... But, I love that milkshake. If I'm not wrong, it was oreo milkshake?? I love it when they blend it thick. Nom! We didn't try other desserts because we planned to have our dinner after shopping.

Couldn't resist and bought a Hello Kitty tumbler from the Hongdae outlet (though it stated Hello Kitty Island). It's a rlly small tumbler so I used it for my Vitamin drink during my PT work in December. Now it's being abandoned at the area beside the basin waiting for me to use it again now that it's holiday again!

Had our dinner at about 10PM because I was too engrossed in shopping! Hahah! Spent so much just in Hongdae!! Anyway, we entered a random restaurant but apparently it's quite famous there lah. Baby ordered smth spicy, rllyyyyy way too spicy for me while I ordered bibimbap again. I'm damn in love with their BBB!! The BBB in Singapore is just too different as compared to the ones in Korea, even if they are operated by Koreans over here :(

***

Irdk what to do now that semester break is here! Postponed a few dates with friends because I'm a brokegirl92 now who is still trying to save hard for my trip that is coming in just 9 days' time! Told Zach that this will be our last trip before he graduates and guess what... He's happy! T_T (Who knws I might change my mind again. K, Kidding!) Wait till he graduates........ Hahahah! But 2-3 years can save a lot for his graduation trip with me ok!!

Sigh pie, I went for my dental checkup ystd to get the colour for my braces. LIKE FINALLY AFTER 4 MONTHS OF BRACES PLS!! But guess what! Requested for hot pink but the dentist/assistant gave me HALF with light pink instead. So now I've two tones of pink and I kind of dislike light pink since poly started. Called back to ask if can change and no. I've to wait till next month. I'm so gna choose turquoise next month so that they won't make the same mistake again. They better not gimme half turquoise and half teal, man! LOL!!

Time to catch up on the drama that I've missed during my exam period! :)

Y1S2,

I'm so happy to say that...

EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVERS!!

Y1S2 is over! Like finally! First 3 papers were disastrous. Felt uber sian right after the papers were collected... But, oh well! It's over! Finals are freaking over!! This semester rlly passed too quickly. No idea why but everyone arnd me was saying the same thing. Not sure if it's because of the long PH in Feb that caused this! And it's funny when during exam period I was always craving for the blue Roller Coaster. I even had Mum to buy that for me. But now that exams are over, that packet of Roller Coaster is still lying on the dining table waiting for someone to consume it.

Anyway, it's somehow a trend that my uni friends and I would always visit a cafe right after our last paper! Since Anton always drives, we requested going to a further cafe in the East: Fresh Fruits Lab. Their drinks are filled in beakers and test tubes. No nice photos because I felt paiseh to let my uni friends wait. HAHAHAH! So the photos below are all quite... Haish!

Ordered the recommended fish&chips for mains (both guys and I) which Minyee ordered chicken thigh. Oh yes, and a truffle fries to share! Their truffle fries is soooo good!! Their F&C is rlly good too. I love it when cafes use dory fish for their fish and chips. So smooth and crispy. But, Zach just had to ask me this "Is there any difference?" and "So where's your most favourite place to have fish and chips?" ........ This guy rlly asking for it because I went speechless. HAHAHAH!

Idk-what's-that, orange, beetroot, lettuce juices

Had nowhere else to go and Anton sent us back home one by one. Yes, my "home" for that afternoon was Zach's hall. It was a long way back from TPY to Pioneer. We even lost our ways finding his hall! Hahahah!! Finally seen this man of my heart after 2weeks!! Being happy was one thing, needing my sleep was another thing. Sleep > seeing him! Hahah!

Took the above photo in a rush bcos Dad was about to reach at that time. Yay to 5 more days of not seeing him! Hahah!

Going out again when I just reached home like 2hrs ago! So tired because I haven't had a proper rest after my exams. Can't wait to reach home ltr, on my aircon, draw my curtain down and sleep till late tml and nua the whole day at home!
