FOOD: CSHH

I'm gna throwback to 1st of March (Saturday) for now.

Had a great lunch gathering with my favourites 2 Saturdays back @ Chye Seng Huat Hardware. The heat from the sun was so unbearable! Imagine us walking under the sun for about 8mins (?). It felt like forever! It was full when we arrived at CSHH. We wanted to get an indoor table but we were left with only the table outside. Good thing we were directly under the fans so it wasn't that bad after all.

As usual, the guys were talking about army... I really have not much idea what they were talking. I'm just glad that Baby has ORD-ed and I don't have to experience the no-contact-for-a-few-days-because-of-outfields anymore. Anyway, most of us ordered The Huat Breakfast so that explains why I have only a few photos of food below.

I didn't manage to finish my croissant and scrambled eggs because it was too much for me. But overall, it was good. Shall let the following photos do the talking.

Cold Brewed Coffee

Homemade Lemonade

Spicy Prawn Aglio Olio

Hot Chocolate

The Huat Breakfast

Cod Fillet

Hong Kong Day 5: Shop & Eat,

HONGKONG DAY 5:

WeI finally had one whole day of shopping. B didn't buy a lot because nth much caught his attention while I bought like some crazy girl. Rlly a shopaholic.

We started our day by having brunch at a recommended cha chaan teng*: Lan Fong Yuen. This was the first time B and I had to share a table with 2 different groups of strangers. I felt rather uncomfortable at first but I got used to it after awhile. I could also see what others (from my table) ordered. And yes, theirs looked tastier than ours :/

*Cha Chaan Teng (茶餐厅): tea restaurant. It is commonly found in Greater China, including Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and part of Guangdong. They are known for eclectic and affordable menus, which include many dishes from HK cuisine and HK-style Western cuisine.

So, we settled down and ordered two different types of noodles and a burger to share. We regretted quite a bit after placing our orders because we could've tried a few more food if we were to share just one plate of noodle. The pork burger was the first to arrive. It was rlly awesome and I was happy that we ordered this instead of other burgers listed on the menu. It's definitely one of the must-try when one patronises Lan Fong Yuen. C

Personally, I do not like the noodles K They use instant noodle for their choice of noodle. I'm not a fan of instant noodle and I rarely crave for it. However, the food that came with the noodle was good! I ordered a plate of noodle with idk-what-chicken while B ordered one with chicken wings. I rlly love the chicken for mine.

Headed down for some shopping at Time Square where I bought my Chuck Taylor. Saw a clutch wallet at Samantha Thavasa and boy! It was so damn pretty and gorgeous! But, my money didn't allow me to buy. It's a ltd ed kind of purse and hence, it explained the price of it. I even had the thought of purchasing it until B reminded me of the wallet he just gotten me on my 21st birthday!

After 2hrs or so, we took MTR to Mong Kok Station for Argyle Centre. That's where I started spending my money like free flow. The clothings there are so cheap and I bought another pair of shoes over there. I was surprised that it was so comfortable when I wore them to school.

Fast forward...

Settled our dinz at Australian Diary Co. @ Jordan Station - another cafe where we had to share tables with other customers. Ordered a set of ham + macaroni and breakfast set (?) + spaghetti and a cup of milk tea. Photos weren't taken at a good angle bcos there wasn't ample space for me /sigh/

Travelled to Langham Place to walk arnd and smth caught my attention.

Hello Kitty

We entered the place and there's this hello kitty gallery at one level and I was so happy once again! No photos bcos all are quite unglam :/ Headed back to our hotel by foot and stopped by a stall to buy the hot sausage bcos the weather was too cold for me to continue.

Got the approval from Baby for this Gif. Introducing my Zachary (Zac) Zhuo. HAHAHAH. Yeah, I gave him this name for his work purpose (and perhaps school in future) and he likes it too. So, why not?!

Goodbye!

Temasek Polytechnic (2011-2014),

Yknw what?

I'm an unofficial graduate!!! /Throw party poppers/

Cr: Google
28th February marks yet another milestone in my life: the end of my 3 years in Temasek Polytechnic. It was surreal as if I had just started my poly last year. But, nope. It's gna be (officially) over soon! I can't wait to be an official graduate!

I've learnt quite a lot during my stay in TP. There's plenty of ups and downs, be it as an individual or with friends. But I'm glad we've managed to put a happy ending to finish this chapter. I still rmb the times when I first entered TP with a very confused heart and mind. I am one of the oldest in the class (but apparently, I look like one of the youngest because of my physique. LOL!). I've to say that I didn't feel good initially because most of my friends were already in Yr 2 while I just entered into a polytechnic. But of cus, I was more than thankful for being able to get a place in a poly after re-taking 3 subjects back in 2010. Then it was the result for Sem 1.1. That was another wake up call for me.

From annual sports (during orientation) to making friends to term tests to exams to SIP to exams again and finally to graduation! Too much to even mention but I'm rlly glad to have made a group of good friends in poly, especially the girl who has the same name as me whom I call her Twinny.

This is the girl whom I can show all my emotions to anywhere and anytime! Things such as my tak glam faces and all the very chor lor actions/words and even topics that we didn't talk about before SIP and the list goes on... Through thick and thin, we have overcame all the obstacles we encountered during our attachment. That was one of the disastrous periods mentioned. Now that we are graduating soon, and going on a different route, I shall wish you all the best for your future endeavour. But this friendship will not stop here for sure because I still wna be the first to knw when you get a prince charming! ;)
In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit. Albert Schweitzer

Of course, after typing the whole chunk above, a part of me is praying very hard that I won't need to re-module any of the modules. For now, we are all hoping for the best for the outcome of our results. /praying emoji appears/
