Hong Kong Day 2: Ocean Park,

WARNING: LOTS OF PHOTOS

Day 2:

We started our day late and hence the breakfast that we had initially planned to go. Headed to a dimsum restaurant called Star of Canton at Olympian City for our brunch instead. Oh yes, NTS: most of the restaurants in HK operate at 11am-12pm onwards. Baby and I ordered way too much for 2pax because we thought we were able to finish all but apparently, we didn't have a big appetite in the morning to fill all the food we ordered!

Ordered the food below: THE EGG TARTS ARE DAMN AWESOME!

Then we started our journey to Ocean Park which I was very excited once again! Headed to Admiralty Station for the bus service to our destination. I would say that the q was still acceptable at that point of time which was near 2PM.

Reached Ocean Park in about 7-10mins' time. Being a tourist, it was (needless to say) a mandatory shot before we entered the place!

My hair looks like a wig here

The entry tix are so cute!

Can't imagine myself playing the ride in the backgrnd

At this time, the temperature started decreasing as we felt a bit colder. So I suggested buying ice cream bcos I haven't tried eating ice cream in cold weather. First time, definitely not our last!

A very scary cable car ride for me :/

Left Ocean Park at about 8plus after watching a bit of the laser lighting show (Idk what's that called). Headed to Central for dinz @ Honolulu Cafe. On the way there, I saw this poster in the station /points below/ and I insisted on taking a photo w it! HAHAH!

YA, IT'S TODAY!!!!! /SCREAM/
Reached Honolulu Cafe and we were kinda surprised w the interior design bcos we thought it was a cafe as stated in the name. But nope! It was like a Cha Chaan Teng which seems pretty much like our coffeeshop just that theirs are all air-conditioned.

I wouldn't recommend the horfun :/

Ladies Market

Our first try for smelly tofu!

Then it was counting down to x'mas at the same area. Their streets were all so bright even at 1AM and the street was filled w so much joy. There were many people walking on the roads and cars would have to slow down for them (not all though). Artists and photographers with their "stalls/booths" on the road as well. Left Central and headed back to our hotel by foot.

Hong Kong Day 1: Excited,

Finally a bit of the time to update about my getaway trip to Hongkong together w Baby during last December. It sounded so long ago but it's actually less than a mth ago. Mr Z actually travelled to Japan one wk before our HK trip. Just imagine how tired he was. 2 wks consecutively. But that also meant one thing: shiok! JAPAN LEH!

So, we finally waited till 23rd December 2013 to arrive. We have been looking forward to our first overseas trip ever since we first got together back in 2008. We were both very egg-cited about this trip. Or maybe just me as it's my first time to HK (it's his 3rd time there).

First day!

Checked in to our hotel @ Cosmo. It was initially called Cosmo Mongkok Hotel but they changed their name Dorsett Mongkok Hotel. The service was great. The staffs, including the housekeepers, are very friendly. I shouted with happiness the moment I opened the door of the room. It was small but surprisingly cosy!

First meal in HK at Food Republic @ Olympian City

Took a short nap as I fell ill just on the very first day of our trip. Damn annoying and it was unexpectedly cold for me, needless to say it was even colder at night! Headed to Baby's relatives' house in Tai Koo. Dined at a restaurant called "美心皇宫" together with his relatives and I found something interesting.

TADAAA! & I only realised what it is at the end of the trip -_-

This was how we ended our first night in HK:

My eyebags gotta maintain!

And now, I shall head back to my project which is gna due in 2days' time! So, goodbye! :)
