Korea Day 3 - 5: Busan (Tourist Attractions),

It was day 3 of our Korea trip and we had to prepare to leave Seoul for Busan. Settled our brunch at Lotteria @ Seoul Station. I rlly love how soft their burgers are! It's a pity that we had this only once because I didn't want to have too much fast food in a foreign country.

It was time to board the train. We bought the non-stop express train tickets which took only a lil more than 2hrs to reach Busan from Seoul whereas the other one will take a little more than 4hrs to reach. I would say that KTX express is rlly comfy. You get your own seat and it was quiet (thankfully the kid was kinda well-behaving throughout the whole ride) and best of all was, I got to nap! Hence, not many photos of scenery was taken! Yes, I spent most of my time slping while travelling! :/

We had a hard time searching for the apt. We had to board the bus from Busan train station to Haeundae Beach. But guess what! Before that, we alrdy had a hard time finding the bus stop and the correct bus. Anyway, we managed to get to the correct place BUT we alighted a few stops before the right one after lugging our big luggages up the bus and such! Basically, our luggages were just blocking everyone's way lah!

Moving on...

The tourist attractions that we visited in Busan were:
  1. BEXCO
  2. Gamcheon Cultural Village
  3. Taejongdae cliffs
  4. Gukje/Busan Jagalchi/Bupyeong market
  5. Yongdae Park
  6. Samyeon Shopping District
  7. Gwangalli Beach and Gwangalli Bridge
  8. And lastly, Haeundae Beach.
1. BEXCO

Somehow, we wasted our time going there because there's nothing much to see. BEXCO is just a conventional hall like our EXPO in the East.

2. GAMCHEON CULTURAL VILLAGE
We boarded Bus no. 2 from the Pusan Nat'l Univ. Hospital to Gamcheon Cultural Village.

Any Kdrama feel?

Super in love with the magnificent view right there!

Thank God it was sunny and warm that day! I was rlly happy about the weather because I could finally have my shades on ;)

3. TAEJONGDAE CLIFF

The super steep slope!

Stairs...

And stairs...

AND MORE STAIRS!!

Look at my skorts! It was freezing cold on that day and all I had was just one useless jacket that was super thin (it was actually a cardi-jacket, hence being super useless and couldn't keep me warm). More about this later on.

4. GUKJE/BUSAN JAGALCHI/BUPYEONG MARKETS
I'm gna combine these three as one because... I CAN'T RMB ON WHICH DAY DID WE GO TO WHICH MARKET! Hahahah! Anyway, I love their markets even though it's on the roads. The ambience is so different from the markets in Singapore! Just see, so much feel!

5. YONGDAE TOWER

We didn't get to go any nearer because we decided to proceed to another attraction! Hence, we took only a wefie w the tower and those 2 above!

6. SAMYEON SHOPPING DISTRICT

7. GWANGALLI BEACH AND GWANGALLI BRIDGE

I love how bright their beaches are! Anyway, initially I thought we could walk over to Gwangalli bridge but it turns out to be a long stretch of expressway. HAHAH! #okcan! But despite that mistaken thought, the view was rlly romantic for couple to take a stroll along the beach ;) However, we didn't stay for long bcos I couldn't manage the coldness too well. T_T

8. HAEUNDAE BEACH

This beach is just 7 minutes away from where we stayed and that's probably one of the reasons why I felt super cold at night - sea breeze!

To summarise, basically, Busan is a place for people to relax/chillax/eat/enjoy scenery. Not recommended for people who wna shop because there's rlly nothing there to buy. We spent lots of time strolling along the beaches... The reason why I wanted to go Busan was simple: that's Wooyoung's birth place! #Don'tjudge!! I doubt I'll be going there again even if I were to be in Korea again!

We are just 4 days away from 2015!! I'm left with just 3 days of work till the end of my contract ;) So many things to look forward to! But for now, I shall be off till the next post! :)
