Japan Day 13: Tsukiji Fish Market x Dog Heart,

Hello,

Down to Day 13 of our Japan trip! Time flies!

Today, we woke up pretty earler for Tsukiji Fish Market. Nope, we were not so hardworking to wake up for the bidding session. We went for bunch instead. It was a really hot day. It didn't help that we both were feeling hungry at that time.

We settled for tamago snack before moving on as we were famished. It was too sweet for me. Mr. Z later bought unagi and scallop because... Why move on when you saw our favourite food?!

Way too crowded!!!
Followed the crowd and finally reached our destination but erm, the sushi place, Sushi Dai, that we wna go to wasn't open because it was a Marine Day. So apparently, Marine Day is only celebrated in Japan on every third Monday of July.

I guess this was also the reason why the only Sushi place in the next alley was having a long queue? We had no choice but to try this instead. The plates of sushi that came to us were still delicious!

Guess where we headed to next?

Dog Heart. But erm, tbh... Just skip this seriously! Or find another dogs' cafe to visit instead. Dogs Heart has restricted space for guests and we couldn't roam around. Everyone was just sitting at where they settled at when they made their entrance.

The entrance fee costs 1500yen per person for an hour. If you love dogs soooo much and would like to stay a lil longer, an additional 300yen would be charged for another 15 minutes. I can't remember how much they'd charge for another hour.

There were a few dogs that were hyper while the rest just nua at the same spot. I think it's also due to the hot weather that they didn't feel like moving?

We left the place when our time was up. Headed to Kiddy Land at Harajuku. The Kiddy Land was about 4 levels high and our agenda to this store was to get Rilakkuma for a friend of Mr. Z but I ended up bagging 2 Hello Kitty plushies home. HAHAH!

The worst thing was that I couldn't decided which to buy before deciding on purchasing both at the same time. They are so cute and nice to touch!!!!

Still deciding...

Walked to Gyoza Lou for the obvious reason. The queue was short as it was before dinner time. Lucky us! I think this was being raved online. Ah, Mr. Z found this online anyway. So we thought, why not? It was indeed one of the nicest gyoza we had in Japan!

We ordered original gyoza and steamed gyoza. The skin of the gyoza was very thin yet it wouldn't break easily. Each gyoza contains cabbage, pork and one more filling. Jinja daebak!

Took the train to Shibuya and we hunted for a good yakitori place for dinner. It's not difficult to find a place that sells yakitori because most of the shop houses in that few alleys are open for this purpose, if not bar!

We randomly picked one because, again and as usual, we were famished! It was a really small place and we were seated at the counter area. We had quite a trouble trying to reach our seat because the walkway was super duper narrow and we had to squeeze in between the walls and the customers.

It was a really oily but satisfying meal!
