Japan Day 14: Hakone,

Hello,

On this day, we went for a one-day trip in Hakone - a place that I've been wanting to go ever since I saw some of my friends posting photos on Instagram. Mainly due to the Shrine on the water.

We started our day super early because the train ride was about 1.5hrs long. One thing I love about Japan is that we can buy bento up during long train ride. I also love the fact that their trains are never delayed!! World's number one train service be it JR Rail or subway trains! :)

Oh and their bento is super legit! Initially we doubted the quality but excuse us, it's Japan that we're talking about so why doubt it? Hahah! This pork cutlet bento is rlly yummy and filled our tummies all the way till lunch time at Hakone. Giving it a 3.5 thumbs up!

Reached the station whereby we could purchase a one-day pass so that we didn't have to pay for our transportation thereafter. These passes cost 4000yen per person. However, Mr. Z calculated it after purchasing and realised that it's actually a little more expensive that to purchase single tickets from the ticketing machines. But I guess it kind of offsets the costs because we got discount vouchers from the one-day passes that we bought.

Shuttle bus up to the cable car station where it led us to the active volcano area.

The volcano, at that point of time, was an active one. Hence we weren't allowed to go outdoor. What a disappointment but it's for our own good bcos the air was really bad - smelly, toxic and poisonous. I wonder how the people there actually tahan the smell because I could still smell it even after the covering my mouth and nose with a piece of wet cloth!

Look at how bad it was! The shuttle bus was supposed to go s'where nearer to the area but due to the bad condition, it had to take another route.

Proceeded to the sightseeing cruise area to board the super huge cruise to Hakone-machi-ko before walking to moto-hakone port!

After we alighted from the cruise, we went straight to the nearest restaurant for our lunch because... WE WERE FAMISHED!

Cont'd our adventure after filling our tummies and off we went again!

We visited this "museum". It used to be the checkpoint to Kyoto. Tbh, Idk how to explain this exhibition because I was quite lost here but just lemme beautify add photos here instead of words alr! Hahah.

Left the place and headed to the one place that I've been looking forward to the most!! The weather didn't seem to be that positive though but as we moved toward the destination, I was glad that the sky cleared up a bit.

I think we took a shuttle bus to the main station? And we took a train back to Tokyo.

LOOK AT THEIR CBD AREA!!!

Anyway, we settled for Nemuro Hanamaru for dinner because I was craving for sushi really badly! Heh, it was also our second last day in Japan so why not right!! ;)

This concluded our Day 14 in Japan T_T
Time flies! It's been more than a year since my Japan trip. One year one week to be exact! Can I go back there anytime soon? Please grant me some money!

One more entry to end my Japan itinerary before I move on to another!

Goodnight! :)
